Gometrics has launched the T258 meter/generator, a new handheld temperature calibrator, more versatile than the previous generation.
It is a multi-purpose instrument that can be used as a temperature meter and simulator for Pt100 RTD and for thermocouples (TC) type B, E, J, K, N, R, S and T according to IEC 584-1.
The different sensors can be configured through the keypad. 
The high accuracy of the T258 allows it to be used as a standard for instrument calibration or probe testing.

This model incorporates a temperature sensor for cold junction measurement.
The display is backlit in blue, making it easy to read in dark environments.
